Valorant Masters 上海站是 Riot Games 为 VCT 2024 赛季打造的第二个国际线下赛事。

本次赛事共有 12 支球队参赛，包括四大国际联赛第一阶段比赛的前三名。

此次锦标赛是 Riot Games 在中国举办的首次国际 Valorant LAN 赛事。

虽然锦标赛的大部分赛事在瓦洛竞技场（VCT CN 比赛通常在此举行）举行，但最后三天的赛事将在著名的梅赛德斯-奔驰竞技场举行。

这个上海著名场馆拥有令人印象深刻的 18,000 个座位。

锦标赛设有两个主要阶段：瑞士站和季后赛。

瑞士站比赛采用八支球队参加的瑞士制赛制，包括每个地区的第二和第三种子队。此阶段的所有比赛均为三局两胜制。

在第一轮中，每个二号种子队将与来自不同地区的三号种子队竞争。后续轮次将根据队伍的胜负记录进行排位。

取得两场胜利的球队将晋级季后赛，而取得两场失败的球队将被淘汰。

季后赛采用八支球队的双败淘汰制，其中包括每个地区的前四名种子队和从瑞士赛区晋级的四支球队。

值得注意的是，每个头号种子队都可以选择他们的首轮对手，这为比赛增加了一个战略层面。
